Connection is Key.

You want to feel close again, but you keep getting stuck.

Maybe you’re having the same argument with different details. One of you wants to talk while the other pulls away. Affection and intimacy have become harder to find, or the demands of work and parenting have left little room for your relationship.

You may still care deeply about each other and feel unsure how to reconnect. Couples therapy gives you space to understand what happens between you and practice a different way of responding.

We can work on:

  • Understanding the cycle behind recurring arguments

  • Expressing needs without blame and listening without immediately becoming defensive

  • Reconnecting when you feel more like roommates than partners

  • Addressing resentment, trust concerns, and past hurts

  • Talking about emotional and physical intimacy

  • Navigating parenting, changing responsibilities, and major life transitions

  • Preparing for marriage and discussing expectations for your future

What working with me is like:

I work to help both partners feel heard while paying attention to the patterns that keep you stuck. I’ll help you slow down difficult conversations, understand what’s underneath your reactions, and practice communicating more clearly.

My approach combines warmth and directness. There is room for vulnerability, accountability, and humor as we work toward your goals.

I welcome LGBTQ+ couples and people in ethically non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships.

Couples sessions are $175 for 55 minutes.

Let’s help you to:

  • Understand and adjust your negative relationship patterns

  • Understand what your partner is really saying to you

  • Help your partner understand your feelings, wants, and needs

  • Develop stronger emotional intimacy

  • Work on building rewarding physical intimacy

  • Learn how to prioritize one another without losing sight of yourself

  • Learn how to pair empathy with action

  • Break free from “keeping score”

  • Work through feelings of betrayal

  • Learn how to have difficult conversations that lead to results

  • Working through “the roommate phase”

  • Heal from past hurts

  • Become aligned on future goals

  • Prepare for life partnership with premarital counseling
